You saw the kitchen and living space in “A Musical, Newton MA Kitchen + Living Space”, and now its time to discuss the upstairs office. Similar to the living room previously discussed, Mariette Barsoum, owner + lead designer of Divine Design + Build, offered up both her dazzling interior design services and her background in construction + architectural design for this room. The office parlays a room needled with little distraction. Thus, the designer kept things somewhat simple. Light and bright is the mantra we hear so often, and the same should transfer over to any kind of study.
Speaking of the kitchen, you may recall those kitchen cabinets were a product of Leicht. Subsequently, the designer carried the frosty white laminate found in the kitchen into the study. The handleless design from the Ceres series is a perfect addition to any office space. automated, touch-sensitive cabinets give both sleek design, and functionality to a workroom.
Furthermore, our favorite addition to this new workspace comes via the filing cabinets sourced by Mariette. The under-desk filing cabinets add a quirky touch that is still tasteful and sophisticated — making this home office somewhere we all want to hang out in ;-).
