If you’re planning a home renovation of any sort, there’s a good chance you use Pinterest to find, save, and organize your ideas and inspiration. The site is literally a catalog of great ideas. We love to share our own photos to Pinterest because it gives us a good gauge of what our clients and potential clients are drawn to. Tracking our most popular photos gives us great insight into home renovation trends and wish-lists.
So what ideas are most people pinning? Here’s a look at the seven most saved home renovation photos from our site month after month.
By far, our most popular pin on our website is this photo of a raised ranch addition in Wellesley, Massachusetts, which gets an average of 30,000 impressions per month. Out theory about the popularity of this photo: the architecture style has gone the way of the split-level home in most peoples’ minds, and feels dated and plain. This photo, however, shows that with the right design, the facade of the home can be completely transformed into something beautiful and contemporary.
Organization is a major goal with most people planning a home renovation, and it doesn’t get much tidier than this photo of LEICHT custom-designed kitchen drawer storage.
This photo is from the same home renovation at the first photo, again proving that giving the raised ranch a more unique and high-end look is a popular renovation goal.
Unique projects also tend to stand out on Pinterest, and this white kitchen with its wood-paneled ceiling is definitely different, and a popular photo even though it’s from a decade ago!
Another angle of the raised ranch entry! This time, showing off the bowed windows and custom designed banister.
This sleek glass and metal staircase in a Boston brownstone is the epitome of contemporary, and one of our favorites that we’ve designed.
Custom front, built-in appliances like these high-glass Miele ovens are becoming on of our most popular request from homeowners, so its not surprise that the trend has mass appeal on Pinterest, too.
