If you love the neighborhood you live in, why not stay and see what you can do with the square footage you have? That’s the question that Divine’s designer Mariette Barsoum asked when she first met these Metrowest homeowners. After debating “should we move or should we stay and renovate,” Barsoum showed them a whole-house design that thrilled the homeowners. “After years of living in a raised ranch, we could have all that?”

The answer was “yes!” The house was already large-enough for this multi-generational family at more than 3,500 square feet, but when family and friends entered the home no one was impressed with the raised ranch style entrance. Instead of walking through the door and right into a split staircase, a 14’ x 14’, two-story entryway addition added high-impact. Now the house welcomes friends and visitors with the same grace and style that the family does.
